It's snowing!
Not here, silly. In New England we're still having lovely fall weather. It's snowing on Mars. Well, at least on the part of it the Phoenix lander can see. (Science fiction in-joke: "It was raining on Mongo that morning.")
I'm afraid this doesn't mean skiing on the slopes of Mons Olympus, or even sleigh-riding across the Hellas basin. According to the Phoenix, the snow wasn't even reaching the ground. So school will not be cancelled.
