From the ever-fascinating Pink Tentacle Web log comes this odd video from a robot submarine in Japan's Sagami Bay. Most of it shows interesting but identifiable marine life. But around 1:30 on the video the sub passes over a very odd-looking . . . thing. It looks like a Pokemon creature covered with silt, sitting on the sea floor. Best guess? A rock. But if anyone else has any ideas about what it is, I'm sure the scientists at JAMSTEC would love to hear from you.
